I finally got around to doing last Saturday’s New York Time’s puzzle. I was waiting until I had time to savor it, since Saturday’s puzzles are the most challenging of the week.
The clue for 35 down was:
Classic Doors song in which Jim Morrison refers to himself anagrammatically as “Mr. Mojo Risin'”
Seriously? I’ve sung along to that song quite a few times since the late ’60s and that never occurred to me.
So far, my survey of one person reveals there are at least two of us who never knew about it. I don’t know if this is any indication, but I’d hate to think I’m the only person who’s been clueless for all these years.
Thanks, Brad Wilber, puzzle creator. I enjoy discovering these gems of useless knowledge.
